Public Participation

One of the FoBCA’s important roles is to investigate, assess, review and comment on developments that could affect the BCA environment – socially, culturally and environmentally. The FoBCA regularly submits commentary on many such issues, and is recognised as one of the respected bodies in the area.

The FoBCA is also represented on four Protected Areas Advisory Committees (PAAC) for various reserves in the area, and two Development Area Environmental Liaison Committees in the area. Each body has its unique issues to deal with, and the FoBCA plays an important role in addressing these.
